This Saturday, we will be having breakfast and a Saturday morning work-day! Breakfast is at 8:00 a.m. and we break out the chore list as soon as we get the dishes done. Our building and grounds require an occasional team approach to their upkeep, and this is one of those service opportunities!

If you can only stay for an hour or two after breakfast, that is fine; or if you don’t make it for breakfast but can get in later in the morning, that is okay also. Any help and fellowship is greatly appreciated!
We have a number of inside touch-up and fix-up jobs around the church, but a significant amount of the work will be outdoors, weather permitting. Our playground needs to be raked out, building trim needs paint, and there is always landscape clean-up and trimming to be done.

We are only lightly stocked with tools at the church, especially of the yard work variety, so if you have any favorites at home feel free to bring them along. Yard/garden rakes, blowers, trimmers, pruning and cutting snips etc. would be especially useful. Don’t forget the work gloves!

Since this Saturday is El Cinco de Mayo (May 5th), our menu will include breakfast burritos, side items and beverages.
