Core Values
The following core values reflect what is truly important to us as a
faith community. These are not values that change from time to time,
situation to situation or person to person, but rather they are the
underpinning of our culture. Many people feel Western Hills is an
exciting and comfortable place where they can be themselves while
pursuing God’s best for their lives. These core values are the primary
reasons for this feeling, and they transcend our size and our growth
rate. By maintaining these core values, regardless of how large we
become, we can preserve what has always been special about Western
Hills. These core values are the soul of our church.

We believe that Biblical teaching is the active catalyst for transformation in the individual and the church.

We believe that unbelievers and the unconvinced are important to God, so should be important to us.

unchanging message of Jesus should be presented in the language of our
ever changing culture. We believe that risk-taking and creativity is
normal because nothing is impossible with God.

We believe the church should operate as a unified community stewarding their spiritual gifts.
