Prayer Team
Praying for the needs of our church and community. Prayer is the heartbeat of a Christ follower. Western Hills is committed to seeking the heart of God and lifting up the needs of others through our Prayer Ministry.
Our goal is to increase the church's awareness of prayer by designing opportunities for prayer. Our mission is:
- That Western Hills may be a house of prayer.
- Members will be praying for the needs of others.
- Members will be seeking the heart of God.
Prayer Ministry Opportunties

Members are encouraged to faithfully agree to pray daily for our pastor and staff.
Prayer Chain
Members can connect with one another through telephone or e-mail as we lift up one another's burdens before the Lord Most High. To get a prayer request placed on the Western Hills Prayer Chain, call the church office at 785-478-3083 or e-mail .
Intercessory Prayer
Members agree to pray together as we boldy come before the throne of grace on behalf of others and Western Hills. On Thursday afternoons at 2 p.m., members gather for a weekly time of intercessory prayer.
