Musical Ensembles
Children’s Choirs
It’s never too early to teach children about the value of worship. Children learn about music, spiritual truths and the joy of worship in our Children’s Choirs. Although performance isn’t the number one priority, the choirs do lead in worship each fall and spring and prepare one musical each year.
Rehearsals are Sundays at 5:00 -- 6:00 pm for ages K-6th grade (Children’s Choirs do not meet in the summer).
Worship Team
Our instrumentalists and vocalist are lead worshipers as we gather each week in corporate worship. The goal of our team is to lead with culturally relevant music in an understandable and joyful way.
Band members rotate weekly when possible and vocalists are placed on a team of four members and lead in the Worship Celebration once approximately every three weeks.
Auditions are held twice a year and are based upon spiritual maturity, musical ability and stage presence. Please submit a Worship Team/Band form to if you are interested in participating.
Rehearsals are Wednesday nights from 7:15 -- 8:45 pm.
Soloists and Ensembles
An integral part of worship takes place when soloists lead us to an encounter with God by sharing their musical skills. An ability to communicate the message as well as a high level of musical ability is required to participate on a regular basis as a soloist.
Various ensembles are available for your participation at WHBC, as well as other instrumental and vocal ensembles opportunities.
