Portugal
Western HIlls has joined our state Southern Baptist Convention to partner with church planting efforts in Portugal. Like much of Europe, Portugal is one of the least churched areas in the world with less than 1% claiming any evangelical faith. Don and Billie Dixon serve as our missionaries and welcome all types of short term volunteer trips such as our men's choir that participated in April. Although very modern and beautiful, the continued lack of Christian response and support make it a difficult ministry area. Pray for Don and Billie to have the persistance and love needed to work with the Portuguese.
