Evil’s Methodology

Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8 NIV

1. To sidetrack life

Stop loving this evil world and all that it offers you… For the world offers only the lust for physical pleasure, the lust for everything we see, and pride in our possessions. These are not from the Father. They are from this evil world. 1 John 2:15a,16 NLT

2. To steal hope

So don't get tired of doing what is good. Don't get discouraged and give up, for we will reap a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time. Galatians 6:9 NLT

3. To surrender expectations

Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around. Proverbs 13:12 MSG

4. To short change opportunity (Discontentment)

Do all things without grumbling or disputing. Philippians 2:14 NAS

5. To sow conflict (Discord)

...Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing side by side, fighting together for the Good News. Philippians 1:27b NLT

6. To settle for isolation (Disassociation)

By yourself you're unprotected. With a friend you can face the worst. Can you round up a third? A three-stranded rope isn't easily snapped. Ecclesiastes 4:12. MSG

people who have learned how to care for each other.
